Zeinab Kikvidze

Zeinab Kikvidze is a Georgian literary scientist. She is Associate Professor at the Department of Georgian Philology, Akaki Tsereteli State University of Kutaisi. She is also a member of the Georgian Comparative Literature Association.

Her research interests include literary theory, postmodern literature, literature and gender studies, Georgian mythology.
Zeinab Kikvidze explores the contemporary literary process in the global cultural context. Her individual works deal with semiotic studies, the chronotope’s function, invariance of symbols, as well as individual aspects of Georgian émigré writers’ activities. She takes an active part in various conferences and symposia.
Zeinab Kikvidze has authored and co-authored a number of monographs and coursebooks and published up to eighty scholarly papers. In 2011, her book Postmodernism and the Georgian Literary Discourse was published; 2024 saw the publication of Literary Papers. currently she studies Georgian women writers’ creative works.
