Tamar Siradze

Tamar Siradze – Vice-Rector of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University (BSU); Professor of the Department of European Studies, PhD in English Philology; has been teaching English language and literature at BA, MA and PhD levels at BSU for 30 years. Active participant of international and local conferences, trainings, workshops in different fields and Erasmus+ Projects. Research fields of interest: European and American Literature, Literary Studies, English as a Foreign Language, Bible in Literature, Literary Translation. Author of 1 monograph and 18 articles. Current research topic – epiphany in English and Georgian literatures.

Since 2011 – Member of the Scientific Council of the Ajara Regional Organization of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences.

2022 – 2024 – Member of the Educational Programs Accreditation Board of the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement.

Member of GCLA, British Shakespeare Association.
