She is a Doctor of Philology and a researcher at the Department of Literature at Shota Rustaveli Institute of Georgian Literature.
Irina Natsvlishvili’s major fields of scientific interest include the history and analysis of Georgian literature and comparative literary studies in a cultural context of medieval Christian writings.
In 2018-2020, she was a participant of the international scientific project (University of Birmingham, United Kingdom) The Christian-Muslim Relations: 1500-1900 (CMR1900).
Irina Natsvlishvili is an author of numerous scientific articles, including those that have appeared in highly prestigious scientific publications. She has participated in dozens of local and international scientific symposiums and forums both in Georgia and abroad.
