
Gia Arganashvili is a Georgian literary scholar, writer, and screenwriter. He is a research scientist at the Shota Rustaveli Institute of Georgian Literature.
His main areas of scientific interest include research in Georgian literature history (nineteenth century), general issues of literary theory – particularly the role of mediation in artistic conflict, as well as contemporary Georgian literary processes.
Gia Arganashvili is a partner of the Georgian Comparative Literature Association (GCLA) and a member of the national organization – International Comparative Literature Association (ICLA).
In 2006, he published a collection of critical letters titled “They Haven’t Walked in Mtatsminda in Vain.”
Gia Arganashvili participates annually in international and local conferences. He is the author of more than 50 scientific articles, which are published yearly in local and international journals.
He is also a participant and winner of several literary competitions.
