Eka Vardoshvili is a Georgian literary scholar and editor.
She is a Associated Professor of Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Humanities, Institute of New Georgian Literature. She as a member of the Georgian Comparative Literature Association (GCLA).
The major field of Eka Vardoshvili’s scientific interest includes general and comparative literary studies in a broad cultural context, also Georgian-European literary and social relations in the XIX century.
In 2022, by LAP LAMBERT Academic Publishing, was published her book – Georgian-European Literary Relations (Georgian-European Literary Relations in the 19th Century, Monograph). In 2016, by Palmarium Academic Publishiung was published her Book- Leo Tolstoy’s Treatise “What is Art?” and its significance (Трактат Льва Толстого “Что Такое Искусство?” и его значение, Monograph).
In 2023, by South Florida Publishing-Miami, her book was co- authored and published – Social Sciences and its Branches of Study. In 2021, by Russian State University for the Humanities, her book was co-authored and published – Turgenev: at the crossroads of eras and cultures (Тургенев: на перекрестке эпох и культур, collective Monograph).
Eka Vardoshvili is an author of several monographs, text books and more than 100 scientific articles, her books and scientific works are included in the national libraries of Georgia, Germany, Ukraine, as well as in the libraries of the American Congress, Harvard and Warsaw universities.
She is a member of editorial board many scientific journals and collections, member of numerous professional organizations and associations, member – correspondent of Tskhum-Abkhazian Academy of Sciences.
