Tamar Namgladze – Doctor of Cultural Studies. Her works analyze literature from perspective of cultural studies, regarding literature as a “tool” for shaping and forming cultural identity under pressure of certain ideologies (Soviet ideology for instance). Her field of interest also includes cross-cultural research of literature, folklore and mythology.
