Levan Beburishvili is a Georgian literary scholar and editor.
He is an Assistant Professor of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, member of the Department of new Georgian literature. He is also senior research fellow at Shota Rustaveli institute of Georgian literature (Research centre of Galaktionology).
The major field of Levan Beburishvili’s scholarly interest includes History of Georgian literature and comparative literary studies.
Levan Beburishvili is an author of two monographs, and more than 30 scholarly articles. He is a participant in more than 50 local and international scholarly conferences.
Awards and Scholarships:
2018 – Tsinandali Award (Best Nominee of the Year) for the monograph “Ethical problems in the Vazha-Pshavela’s Literery Heritage”.
2014 – The scholarship after the first president of Georgia Zviad Gamsakhurdia;
